Terms of use
Shahan Travel · shahantravel.com · 11.10.2026
Translation — the German version is binding.
1. Scope and provider
These terms of use apply to “Shahan Travel” (“Shahan Travel”, شاهان سفر): the website shahantravel.com (also reachable via shahantravel.de), the Android app “Shahan Travel” on Google Play, the Telegram bot and the WhatsApp channel (together the “service”).
The provider is the private individual Fariborz Ghambari, Friedrich-Dürr-Straße 49/1, 74074 Heilbronn, Deutschland, e-mail: info@shahantravel.com (“we”). You can also reach us through the support chat in the app.
Users' own terms do not apply. How we handle personal data is described in the privacy notice.
2. Services
The service is a personal travel assistant. In particular it offers:
- saving and managing trips;
- searching hotel and flight prices in public sources (e.g. Google, booking sites) and notifications about them;
- reminders, e.g. of free-cancellation deadlines or passport validity;
- checklists and warnings about strikes and delays;
- information on compensation claims for flight problems under EU law (no legal advice);
- splitting shared costs among co-travellers;
- a travel diary with photos;
- emergency information that also works offline (local emergency numbers, an emergency card with details you enter yourself);
- passes for Google Wallet;
- sign-in with Google, Telegram or a code via WhatsApp.
We keep developing the service; individual features may change or be removed. You are entitled to specific features only where they are expressly promised (e.g. in a paid plan).
3. No booking, no travel agency
The service books nothing, concludes no contracts in your name and handles no payments for travel. We are not a tour operator, not a travel agent and not a representative of hotels, airlines or booking sites.
Prices and availability shown come from public sources and are for information only. They may be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Only the details given by the respective provider at the time of your booking count.
If you book with a hotel, an airline or a booking site, the contract is made solely between you and that provider, under its terms. We are not responsible for its services.
Information on air passenger rights and compensation is general information, not legal advice. Whether you have a claim in a specific case is for you to check, or to have checked by an expert.
4. Content from artificial intelligence
The service uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini via Vertex AI) for suggestions and texts. AI results can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable. They are suggestions, not promises. Check them before relying on them — especially for deadlines, entry rules, health and money.
5. Registration and account
- You need an account to use the service. You sign in with Google, Telegram or a code via WhatsApp. By registering, a contract of use under these terms is concluded between you and us.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- An account belongs to exactly one person and must not be passed on to others.
- Protect your logins (Google, Telegram, WhatsApp) and the devices you are signed in on against access by others. If you notice misuse of your account, please tell us immediately.
- There is no right to registration.
6. Users' obligations
- You are responsible for the content you enter or upload (e.g. photos, receipts, expenses, notes).
- Only upload content you have the necessary rights to. Only enter data of other people (e.g. co-travellers) if you are entitled to do so.
- In particular, the following are prohibited: illegal content, infringing the rights of others, harassment, spam, automated scraping of the service, attacks on the technology, circumventing protective measures and any other unlawful use.
- In case of abuse or serious violations we may remove content and suspend the account temporarily or permanently. We take your legitimate interests into account and, where possible, inform you with reasons.
You grant us only the rights to your content that are needed to run the service (e.g. storing it and showing it to you and the co-travellers you invite).
7. Free use and later paid plans
The service is currently free. Optional paid plans (subscriptions) may be added later. If a free trial is offered (e.g. the first month), free features may be limited after it ends.
For paid plans: scope, price, term and cancellation are clearly shown to you before purchase. A subscription is only concluded if you expressly place an order with an obligation to pay. Payment is handled by the payment service Stripe.
As a consumer you have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days under § 312g of the German Civil Code (BGB) when you take out a paid plan. You will receive the withdrawal instructions with all details and the model withdrawal form before purchase and with the confirmation.
8. Availability
We aim for smooth operation but do not guarantee constant availability. Maintenance, technical faults, outages of third-party services (e.g. Google, Telegram, WhatsApp, booking sites) or force majeure may limit use.
Notifications and reminders may arrive late or not at all. Do not rely on them alone for important deadlines.
9. Liability
- We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act.
- Where you use the service free of charge, we are otherwise not liable for slight negligence.
- For paid plans, in case of slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), i.e. obligations whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment you may regularly rely. Liability is then limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.
- These rules also apply to persons we engage for the service.
- We give no warranty for the accuracy of prices, availability, strike and travel information from third-party sources, or for the services of hotels, airlines and booking sites; liability under the points above remains unaffected.
10. Emergency information
Emergency numbers, tips and the emergency card in the service are an aid, not a substitute for official sources, medical advice or authorities. The details may be out of date or incomplete. In an emergency, call the local emergency number (112 in the EU).
You enter the details on your emergency card yourself and keep them up to date. Check entry, visa and health rules with the competent authorities.
11. Termination and deletion
You can end the contract of use at any time by deleting your account in the settings. Your data is then deleted as described in the privacy notice. For paid plans, the term and cancellation rules shown at purchase also apply.
We may terminate the contract of use with 30 days' notice. Both sides' right to terminate for good cause (e.g. serious abuse) remains unaffected.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms if the service, the law or the technology changes. We inform you about changes in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. You can object to them. If you keep using the service after the 30 days without objecting, the changes are deemed accepted where legally permitted; we point out this consequence expressly in the notice. If you object, either side may end the contract.
Changes to the main services or prices of a paid plan only apply with your express consent.
13. Final provisions, governing law, dispute resolution
- German law applies. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another country, the mandatory consumer protection rules of that country remain unaffected.
- We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG).
- If a provision is invalid, the rest remain valid; the statutory rule takes its place.
- These terms exist in several languages. The German version is binding.
